HUNGARIAN KIFLI 
DOUGH:

1/2 lb. butter
1/2 lb. cream cheese
2 c. flour

Mix all together. Round up into ball. Pinch off small pieces of dough into small balls, smaller than walnut. Refrigerate a few hours.

FILLING:

2 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. white raisins
1/2 c. orange juice
3 tbsp. sugar

Mix and let stand at room temperature.

Roll out each ball on confectioners' sugar. Place about 1 teaspoon filling (may be less) in center. Roll into logs, pinch to seal. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Brush with lightly beaten egg. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes (depending on oven) until golden brown. Makes 5-6 dozen.
