ROAST PORK CHOPS | |
1 c. chopped onion 1 clove garlic, minced 1/4 c. salad oil 1 c. water 3/4 c. ketchup 1/3 c. lemon juice 2 tbsp. sugar 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. bottle hot pepper sauce 6 rib or loin, cut 1 to 1 1/4 inches thick For sauce: Cook onion and garlic until tender but not brown. Add remaining ingredients, except chops. Simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes. Set aside. Lock chops in a spit basket. Rotate over slow coals 45 minutes to 1 hour. Baste with the sauce during the last 20 minutes of cooking time. |
