MEXICAN SALAD 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
Garlic salt to taste
1/2 onion, chopped
1 c. chili beans
1/2 head lettuce or spinach
1 c. diced tomatoes
1 med. onion, cut in rings
1 (8 oz.) can taco sauce
1 bag Doritos
Thousand Island dressing

Brown first three ingredients. Put in sieve and pour boiling water over meat to remove all grease. Wash all juice off beans. Mix with remaining ingredients. Just before serving add dressing and crushed Doritos.
