BAKED ZITI | |
1 (16 oz.) box ziti 1 lb. ground beef 1 onion, chopped 1 egg 1 tsp. oregano 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 16 oz. carton Ricotta cheese 1/2 cup red wine 1 (16 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce enough sliced Mozzarella cheese to cover top 1 cup sliced mushrooms Cook ziti according to directions; drain. Sauté ground beef with onion; drain. Mix ziti with meat/onion mixture. Meanwhile, beat egg; mix with oregano and garlic powder. Mix this mixture with Ricotta, wine and sauce. Turn ziti/meat mixture into a casserole dish with ricotta/sauce mix; mix well. Top with sliced Mozzarella. Bake at 350°F for approximately one hour. |
