TURTLES 
1 tbsp. paraffin
18 caramels
18 pecan halves
1/2 c. pecan pieces
30 candy kisses

Grate 1 tablespoon paraffin. Grease an 8 inch pie plate with butter. Place 6 caramels in a circle in the pie plate. Microwave on high 40 second until soft but not liquid. Remove to cookie sheet. Use pecans to make heads and legs of turtle. Press pecans into each caramel. Repeat procedure for two other batches of 6 caramels. Unwrap candy kisses and put in bowl. Microwave on medium. Stir in paraffin shavings until melted. Spoon chocolate mixture over turtles, leaving tips of pecans showing.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
