ITALIAN NOODLE CASSEROLE 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. skinny egg noodles
1 clove garlic, minced
1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 tbsp. butter
3 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
Salt & pepper to taste
1 tbsp. sugar
1 c. cottage cheese
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/4 c. sour cream
1/3 c. onion, chopped
1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
1 c. cheddar cheese, grated

Cook noodles according to package directions. Brown ground beef and garlic in butter. Add tomato sauce, salt and pepper, and sugar. Blend cheeses and add sour cream, onion and green pepper to cheese. In a greased 9"x13" dish, put half of cooked noodles, then a layer of cheese and then rest of noodles. Cover with ground beef mixture and top with cheddar cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serves 8.
