CREAMY WHITE CHEESE DIP
Mexican restaurant style.

1/2 lb. sliced white American cheese (usually found in your grocers deli)
1/2 cup milk
1/2 tbsp. butter
finely diced peppers (optional)

Melt butter under low heat in a small sauté pan. Add milk. Slowly add cheese, a little at a time, stirring occasionally until cheese, milk, and butter are well blended.

Note: Add more milk if needed to reach desired dipping consistency.

Creamy White Cheese Dip

This is our favorite way to make queso! I buy the Land O'Lakes white American cheese from the deli, and add chopped green chilies. (Jalapenos are good, too.) It's creamy and delicious, and topping it with fresh pico de gallo and minced cilantro makes for a lovely presentation.
