BEEF AND BARLEY CHULEND 
1 c. dried beans (limas, navy, etc.)
3/4 c. barley
3/4 -1 lb. fat beef brisket, cubed

Soak beans overnight or prepare according to directions on package. Cook with brisket until tender. Cook barley separately. Combine beans and barley. Bake at 375 degrees F. for about 30 minutes.
