BUFFALO CHICKEN PIZZA | |
1 lb. ground chicken (I use Perdue) prepared pizza crusts (2 pack; thinner is better) blue cheese dressing (HIDDEN VALLEY®) FRANK'S® RedHot hot sauce shredded Mozzarella cheese olive oil (for brushing crust) grated cheese (optional) garlic powder (optional) Cook ground chicken in frying pan and set aside. Pre-bake crusts as directed on package. Spread blue cheese dressing over crust (don't over do it). Put chicken in a container and add FRANK'S® hot sauce. Put cover on container and shake to blend - add more sauce if desired. Evenly spread chicken mixture over crust. Sprinkle top with shredded Mozzarella cheese. If making TWO single pizzas, bake per instructions on crust package until cheese is melted. If making ONE double crust, bake per instructions on crust package until cheese is tacky then add second crust. Brush top of second crust with oil. Sprinkle with garlic powder and grated cheese, if using. Add more shredded Mozzarella cheese. Continue baking until cheese on top crust is melted. Note: Olive oil will help brown top crust as well as brown the garlic powder and grated cheese so keep an eye on it. Makes 2 single pizzas or 1 double crust pizza. Submitted by: BDW |
