CANTALOUPE HAM GLAZE 
8 lb. honey spiral ham (with glaze packet)

Cover the bottom of a roasting pan with water. Cook ham in roaster oven for about 1 1/2 hours on 250°F.

CANTALOUPE HAM GLAZE:

half a cantaloupe
1/2 tbsp. cherry flavoring
3 tbsp. water
honey glaze packet

Remove rind from cantaloupe. Cut into 1/8-inch slices then cut into 1-inch chunks. Put into medium saucepan with cherry flavoring, water and honey glaze packet.

Cook on high, stirring constantly for about 5 minutes.

Place cantaloupe pieces in between ham slices and pour glaze over ham. Continue cooking ham at 250°F for about 20 minutes. Serve.

Note: Once baked, you can turn oven down to 150°F and pick off the ham all day.
