1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla

In a mixing bowl combine flour, baking soda and salt. In a mixer bowl beat butter and peanut butter with electric mixer on medium speed for 30 seconds. Add sugars. Beat until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Add dry ingredients; beat until well blended.

Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Roll in sugar; place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for about 8-10 minutes. Cool for 1 minute. Move to wire racks. Makes about 48 cookies. Unwrap 48 Hershey kisses, press into cookie and don't touch until totally cool.
