MICROWAVE CARAMEL POPCORN 
3 qt. popped popcorn
1 1/2 c. peanuts
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. light corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Put popped corn and peanuts in large brown paper bag. Set aside.

Combine all except baking soda in large glass bowl. Microwave on high for 3 or 4 minutes. Stir after each minute until it boils. Microwave 2 minutes more. Stir in baking soda. Pour syrup over popcorn and peanuts in bag. Close bag, shake well. Microwave on high for 1 1/2 minutes. Shake well. Microwave for 1 1/2 minutes more. Shake and pour onto waxed paper. Cool.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
