PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE CAKE 
1 c. butter
1/4 c. cocoa
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine butter, cocoa, water, buttermilk and eggs. Stir constantly over low heat until mixture boils. In bowl, mix sugar, flour and soda. Add hot mixture, beat until smooth. Add vanilla. Pour into greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. When cake is cool, spread mixture of 1 cup peanut butter and 1/2 stick of butter.

FROSTING:

1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. cocoa
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Buttermilk

Mix first 4 ingredients and add enough buttermilk for a spreading consistency. Top with nuts, if desired.
