BLACK BEAN PIZZA 
1 ready made pizza crust (or homemade whole wheat if desired), spread out in a greased pan
1 med. sized can tomato sauce (pizza sauce, if desired), spread over crust in pan
1/8 c. dried, chopped onions, sprinkled on top
1/2 c. chopped, mild chilies, sprinkled over
2/3 sm. jar capers, sprinkled over
2/3 can black beans (beans are washed and drained); sprinkle over
Hot pickled okra, sliced into fourths, arranged like spokes on a wheel, with the large ends away from the center
1 sm.bag shredded cheddar cheese, sprinkled over
6 slices Mozzarella or Swiss cheese, your choice (This cheese must cover the okra, or they will become "little hard nettles" under the oven heat.)
2/3 can water chestnuts, sliced, arranged even, or as desired
2 sm. cans chopped ripe olives, sprinkled over
Bacon Bits (or crisp fry your own) on top as desired

Assemble the ingredients as listed above. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven until cheese is melted and browned to your preference. Make sure that the middle is cooked.

I have toyed with the idea of making a crust that was 1/2 corn meal/1/2 flour. I've never done it, but it sounds good to me.
