APPLE DUMPLINGS IN SAUCE 
4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. Crisco
1 c. water

Mix all ingredients well. Press into circles. Fold over peeled apples.

SAUCE:

2 tbsp. flour
1 c. white sugar
1 tbsp. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. water

Bring to boil and pour into baking dish to cool. Place dumplings in sauce and bake at 425 degrees for 45 minutes.
