BAKED POT ROAST WITH VEGETABLES 
1 (3 lb.) rolled beef rump roast or pork roast
1 lg. onion, sliced
1 garlic clove, crushed
2 tbsp. Worcestershire
4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 lb. rutabaga or potatoes, cut in chunks
1 (24 oz.) bag frozen lima beans, thawed

About 4 hours before serving: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place all ingredients except rutabaga and lima beans in a Dutch oven. Add 2 cups water. Cover and bake 3 hours. Add rutabaga and lima beans and continue baking 1 hour more until potatoes and meat are tender. Turn meat occasionally.

Remove to warm platter. Remove strings. With a large spoon, skim fat from liquid. Serve liquid over meat and vegetables. Makes 8 servings.

This is very good with pork roast.
