1/2 c. butter
1 1/4 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
1 1/4 c. banana pulp
2 c. cake flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Cream the butter and add the sugar slowly. Beat well. Add the unbeaten eggs one at a time and beat thoroughly after each addition. Add the slightly cooled melted chocolate. Sift together the dry ingredients and add alternately the banana pulp. Add vanilla. Beat thoroughly. Pour into two greased layer cake tins and bake in a moderate oven 30-40 minutes.
