CHICKEN WINGS 
18 chicken wings (3 lb.)
2 tbsp. salad oil
3 green onions, cut up
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/3 c. med. or dry sherry
1/4 c. catsup
2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. ginger

Cut wings in half at joint. In 5-quart Dutch oven over high heat in hot salad oil, cook wings and onions, stirring constantly about 7 minutes. Reduce heat to medium. Add soy sauce and remaining ingredients, stirring to blend well. Cover and cook about 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Uncover and cook 10 minutes longer, stirring frequently until almost all liquid is absorbed and chicken wings are tender.
