JANELLE & JESSICA'S CARAMEL
BROWNIES
 
1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 cake mix (German chocolate)
1/2 c. melted butter
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. chocolate chips

Melt caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk together. Mix cake mix, butter, and remaining milk until it firm. Put half of mixture in 9 x 13 (lightly greased) pan and bake for 6 minutes at 350 degrees. Take out of oven and spread chocolate chips and nuts over mixture, then top with caramel mixture. Take remaining cake mix and press on top of caramel. Then bake 15 to 18 minutes. Cool before cutting into squares.
