MYSTERY BARS 
Pam or shortening
Saltine crackers, unbroken
1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 (12 oz.) bag chocolate chips
Chopped almonds (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cover large cookie sheet with foil and spray with Pam or grease with shortening. Cover bottom of sheet with crackers. Heat butter and sugar to boiling, stirring constantly, and boil 3 minutes exactly. Pour over crackers and bake for 5 minutes. Crackers should float and bubble. Remove from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Spread chips as they melt. Sprinkle with chopped almonds if you like. Cool and cut.
