BUTTERMILK CHOCOLATE CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1 c. water
1/2 c. Crisco
3 1/2 tbsp. cocoa
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

FROSTING:

1 stick butter
3 1/2 tbsp. cocoa
1/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 box powdered sugar

Measure flour and sugar into a mixing bowl. Bring butter, water, Crisco and cocoa to a boil in a saucepan and pour over sugar-flour mixture. Add eggs, buttermilk, soda and vanilla and mix well. Pour into 11"x14" pan. Bake 20 minutes at 400 degrees.

FROSTING: Bring butter, cocoa, milk and vanilla to a boil in a saucepan. Add one box of powdered sugar. Whip with a mixer. Frost cake immediately.
