1 c. water
1 stick butter
1/2 c. oil
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
4 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Heat first 3 ingredients to boiling. Combine next 3 ingredients and add buttermilk, soda, eggs and vanilla. Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Ice while hot with: 1 lb. box powdered sugar 4 tbsp. cocoa 1/2 c. buttermilk 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. nuts (opt.)
