KIFFLINGS 
2-1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 lb. (2 sticks) butter
1/2 c. nuts
Powdered sugar

Melt butter. Combine flour, sugar and finely chopped nuts. Add butter. Form into balls.

Bake at 325°F for 30 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar while still warm.

Optional: Roll again in powdered sugar after completely cooled.

Not just Swedish, also made in the Netherlands, my mother has made them for years only ours are shaped into half a moon shapes.
