BLUEBERRY SQUARE CAKE 
2 1/2 sticks butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs, separated
2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 can blueberry pie filling

Beat egg whites until stiff and set aside. Cream butter and add sugar, egg yolks, flour and vanilla to butter. Beat well. Fold in egg whites by hand (batter will be thick). Spoon into 11 x 8 inch Pyrex pan. Drop pie filling by tablespoons on top of batter. Bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees.
