CHARLOTTE'S VEGETABLE BEEF SOUP 
2 lbs. ground chuck
2 lbs. stew beef
2 c. cooked, cubed ham
1 c. chopped onion
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 lg. can tomato sauce
1 stick Mazola butter
Salt and pepper to taste
1 sm. can V-8 juice
1 can Del Monte mixed vegetables
1 can sliced potatoes
1 can sm. baby corn on cob
1 box frozen Fordhook lima beans
3 tbsp. ketchup
1 tbsp. sugar
1 c. cabbage, packed

Brown ground chuck, stew beef, ham, and onions; add salt and pepper to meat. Add all other ingredients starting with tomato sauce and holding off on adding lima beans until mixture comes to a boil.

Simmer 1-2 hours. Serve with cornbread or crackers. Makes about 2 gallons.
