AUNTIE'S CHOCOLATE PIE 
1 baked pie shell
2 squares bitter chocolate, melted
1 c. plus 1 heaping tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
Dash of salt
2 eggs, separated
2 c. milk or 1 c. milk and 1 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix chocolate, sugar, cornstarch, salt, egg yolks and milk together. Stir over low heat until thick (like pudding) and will not run in pie shell. Add vanilla. Put in pie shell. Beat egg whites until stiff but not dry. Gradually add 2 heaping tablespoons sugar to egg whites. Cover pie with egg whites and bake at 300 degrees until golden brown.
