PIE CRUST & PECAN PIE FILLING 
CRUST:

3 c. flour
1 beaten egg
1 c. shortening
Dash of salt
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. cold water

PECAN FILLING:

3 eggs
1/2 c. white sugar
Pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. butter
1 c. Karo or white dark
1 c. pecans

For Crust: Cut flour, salt and shortening together. Add beaten egg, water and lemon juice; mix well. Roll out. This makes 3 pie crusts.

Mix filling and pour in raw crust. Bake until firm, about 40 minutes in 350 degree oven.
