"CHEWY PECAN BARS" 
1/2 c. butter, melted
2 eggs
2 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 c. chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 13 x 9 pan with butter or spray with a nonstick spray. Beat eggs until light and foamy in a large mixing bowl. Add in sugar, vanilla and butter and mix until creamy. Add flour to mixture and hand mix until blended (batter will be thick). Mix in pecans. Spread evenly in prepared pan and bake 25 to 30 minutes or until top is light brown. Cool completely and cut into bars.

Makes 2 dozen bars.
