2 c. plain flour
1 c. plain meal
2 eggs
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tbsp. cooking oil
1 tbsp. salt
1 sm. onion, grated
1 tbsp. onion salt
1 pt. milk, sweet or buttermilk

Mix well; drop by teaspoonfuls in oil at about 375 degrees. Turn over after brown on one side. Cook about 8 minutes.
