FORT VALLEY PEACH COBBLER | |
3/4 c. flour 2 c. sugar 2 tsp. baking powder Dash salt 3/4 c. milk 3/4 stick butter 2 c. sliced peaches, fresh, frozen or canned Combine into a batter flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder, dash salt and milk. In a deep pie dish melt butter; pour batter into middle of butter. Do not stir. Pour into middle of batter the peaches with 1 cup of sugar added. Do not stir. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees F. Served warm or cold with or without whipped cream or ice cream. Makes 8 servings. |
