BANANA ICE CREAM 
4 bananas
2 c. milk
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
4 egg yolks, lightly beaten
1 c. heavy cream

Peel and mash 4 sweet, ripe but firm bananas. Put them through a food mill. Prepare the milk, sugar, salt, egg yolks and heavy cream. Stir the banana pulp into custard mixture and add 1 1/3 tablespoons lemon juice. Freeze according to standard freezer instructions.
