MOM'S SIMPLE DUMPLINGS 
1 can biscuits
Flour

Lightly apply flour to cutting board to keep dumplings from sticking to it.

Take biscuits from can, lay out on cutting board. Roll them flat and thin. Cut into strips about 1 inch wide.

When the broth is at boiling, lay the strips on top of the broth. Cover and reduce heat to a simmer. DO NOT open lid for at least 10 minutes or the dumplings will fall.

Amazingly, the end result is very similar to home-made dumplings. This recipe came from my mom, who for years made delicious home-made dumplings.
