2 c. granulated sugar
2/3 c. white corn syrup
1/3 c. hot water
2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts

Cook sugar, syrup and water in saucepan. Cook until it forms a very hard ball. Pour in a thin stream into stiffly beaten egg whites, beating all the time. Add nuts and vanilla, beating until it stands in peaks. Drop on buttered plate or tray.
