2 c. sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. hot water
2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
1 c. chopped nuts

Boil sugar, syrup, and water until it spins a long thread. Pour slowly over beaten egg whites, stirring constantly. Add nuts. Stir until it loses its gloss. Drop onto waxed paper.
