BAKED ZITI 
1/2 lb. zita shaped pasta
1 lb. Ricotta cheese
3 c. shredded mozzarella
3 c. bottled spaghetti sauce
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook zita in boiling water until al dente; drain and put in large bowl. Mix together Ricotta cheese and half the mozzarella with the ziti. Grease 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Cover bottom of dish with half the spaghetti sauce. Spoon ziti mixture into pan. Cover with remaining spaghetti sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and remaining mozzarella cheese. Bake 20-30 minutes. Yields 8-10 servings.

Have made this several times. I always substitute cottage cheese for the Ricotta... You cannot tell the difference. Excellent recipe.

Just a thought - I always use Penne pasta - the ridges on the pasta hold more sauce and flavor.
