CARAMEL TOPPING 
1 well beaten egg yolk
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. water
2/3 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. light corn syrup

Combine all ingredients and mix together to blend. Cook on top of double boiler until thick, stirring frequently. Cool and store in covered jar in refrigerator. This topping may be used on ice cream or puddings or any place a topping is needed.
