BANANA SPLIT DESSERT 
3/4 c. melted butter
2 3/4 c. crushed graham crackers
1/4 to 1/2 c. chopped salted peanuts (reserve some to sprinkle on top)
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
1 (13 oz.) Cool Whip
5 bananas
1 lg. can crushed pineapple
2-3 c. fresh strawberries, cleaned and sliced
Cherries (optional)

Combine graham crackers and peanuts and melted butter. Pat into bottom of 10x13 inch pan. Cream softened cream cheese and powdered sugar. Fold in half of container of Cool Whip. Put this on top of graham crackers. Drain pineapple really well, saving juice. Slice bananas and dip in pineapple juice. Put sliced strawberries on top of Cool Whip mixture. Then add sliced bananas dipped in pineapple juice on top of strawberries.

Put crushed pineapple on top of strawberries. Spread remaining Cool Whip over this. Sprinkle with chopped peanuts. Drizzle chocolate syrup on top of this. Refrigerate.
