1 lb. vanilla wafers
1 1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
1/2 pt. whipped cream (sweetened and flavored with vanilla)
2 eggs
1 pt. strawberries
1/2 c. butter

Roll vanilla wafers evenly and put 1/4 inch thick in bottom of dish, reserving part of crumbs. Cream sugar, butter and eggs together and spread over wafer crumbs. Clean and slice strawberries, then lay on cloth to draw out moisture. Put berries on top of mixture and top with whipped cream and remaining wafer crumbs. Chill overnight.
