CORN MUFFINS | |
1 c. yellow cornmeal 1 c. Gold Medal flour 2 tbsp. sugar 4 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. milk 1/4 c. shortening 1 egg Heat oven to 425 degrees. Grease bottom of 12 medium muffin cups. Blend all ingredients about 20 seconds. Beat 1 minute and then fill muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake 15 minutes, immediately remove from pan. Makes 12 muffins. |
