PICKLED GREEN BEANS 
4 lbs. green beans
1/4 tsp. red peppers
1/2 tsp. mustard seed
1/2 tsp. dill
1 clove garlic
5 c. vinegar
5 c. water
1/2 c. salt

In a saucepan bring to boil water, vinegar and salt. In sterile jars place in bottom of jar: 1/4 teaspoon red peppers, 1/2 teaspoon mustard seed, 1/2 teaspoon dill or you may use part of a fresh dill stalk, and garlic. Fill jar with vinegar solution, place a boiled lid and rind on top. Process 5 minutes.
