PEPPERMINT CHOCOLATE DESSERT 
2 c. vanilla wafers
3 eggs
2/3 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 sq. (1 oz.) unsweetened chocolate
2 sq. semi - sweet chocolate
3 c. confectioner's sugar
3/4 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
1/2 gal. pink peppermint stick ice cream

Sprinkle 1 cup crushed vanilla wafers in bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan. Separate eggs. Beat whites stiff and set aside. Melt butter (butter) and chocolate. Beat yolks. Add to chocolate mixture. Add confectioner's sugar and vanilla. Add beaten whites and chopped nuts. Press into pan on top of vanilla wafers. Allow to harden in freezer about 1 hour. Soften ice cream. Spread on top of chocolate mixture. Sprinkle 1 cup vanilla wafers on top. Keep in freezer.
