OVEN - FRIED CHICKEN CORDON BLEU | |
2 boneless split chicken breasts 4 thin slices boiled or imported ham 4 thin slices Swiss cheese (or Mozzarella cheese) Salt and pepper 1 tbsp. mayonnaise 2 tbsp. bread crumbs Split chicken fillets in half; pound until thin. Layer each fillet with ham and cheese. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Roll up with filling inside. Spread chicken roll with mayonnaise, then roll in crumbs until coated. Arrange, seam side down, in a shallow pan. Bake in a 450 degree oven for 20 to 30 minutes or until golden and tender. |
