EGG CASSEROLE 
8 slices bread (white or wheat)
butter
1 lb. sausage or bacon
1/2 lb. cheese (any variety)
6-8 eggs
1 c. milk
Salt, pepper, etc., to taste

Line a 9 x 12 inch casserole dish with slices of bread (remove crust from edges). Butter each slice. Cook and drain loose sausage meat (or cook and crush bacon) and scatter over top of the bread. Add layer of cheese over top of meat layer. Mix together 6-8 eggs and 1 cup of milk and spices to taste. Pour egg mixture over top of casserole. Let set in refrigerator overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
