NO SALT BISCUITS | |
2 c. flour 1 tbsp. baking powder 1/3 c. oil 2/3 c. skim milk Mix flour and baking powder. Combine oil and milk; pour into dry ingredients. Stir until forms a ball. Knead slightly. Roll dough until 1/2 inch thick. Cut with cutter. Place close together on ungreased baking sheet. Bake in 450 degree oven for 12-15 minutes. Variation: Herb seasoned - add 1 or more of the following to dry mixture: 1 tsp. onion powder 2 tsp. parsley flakes 2 tsp. dill weed 1/2 tsp. sage Drop Biscuits: Add 2 additional tablespoons skim milk and stir until dough well mixed. Drop by spoons onto ungreased sheet. |
