APPLE DUMPLIN 
1 Granny apple
3/4 c. water
1/2 stick butter
1 can crescent rolls
1 to 1 1/2 c. sugar
cinnamon to taste

Preheat oven to 350°F. Cut apple in 8 slices. Put in cool water. Open crescent rolls, break apart and on wax paper roll apple. Seal. Put in baking dish. Boil sugar, water and butter. Pour over dumpling; sprinkle cinnamon.

Bake 25 to 30 minutes.
