PINEAPPLE CHEWS 
2 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
1 c. chopped nuts

FROSTING:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 stick butter
2 1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream first 3 ingredients; sift and add flour and soda. Fold in pineapple and nuts. Bake in greased and floured 9 x 13 x 2 inch pan in 350 degree oven for 50-60 minutes or until firm. Mix frosting together; beat well. Frost cake in pan; cut into squares.
