LOW CALORIE PEPPER STEAK 
1 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 lb. round steak, thinly sliced
1/3 c. chopped onions
1 lb. can stewed tomatoes
1/4 c. water
2 tsp. instant beef bouillon
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 green pepper, thinly sliced

Brown steak and onions in butter. Add tomatoes, water, bouillon and garlic powder. Cover and simmer 1 hour. Blend soy sauce and cornstarch; add to beef mixture. Stir constantly until thickened. Add green peppers and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serves 6. 208 calories.
