1 c. butter or 1/2 c. butter & 1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
4 eggs, slightly beaten
2 c. flour
2 tbsp. lemon juice
4 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Mix first three ingredients and put into bottom of a 9"x13" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. While this is baking, gently mix together eggs, sugar and lemon juice, using a spoon. Fold in flour and baking powder and pour mixture over hot crust as it comes from oven. Return to oven and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Sprinkle confectioners' sugar over cake while it is hot. Gently loosen crust from sides of pan. When cooled, cut into bars.
