HEARTY BREAKFAST CASSEROLE 
6 slices white bread, crusts removed
12 eggs
2 c. crumbled bacon
2 c. cheddar cheese, shredded, divided
1 c. sour cream or milk
3/4 c. green onion, chopped
Salt & pepper to taste
Sprinkling of parsley

Line a greased 13"x9" baking pan with bread slices. Beat eggs until foamy. Add bacon and 1 1/2 cups cheese. Stir well. Add remaining ingredients, except reserved cheese. Mix well and pour over bread slices. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup cheese on top. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes. Yield: 9 to 12 servings. NOTE: Chopped ham may be used instead of some or all of the bacon.
