16 chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
1/4 c. melted butter
1 1/2 pts. coffee ice cream, softened
3/4 c. chocolate fudge sauce

Place crushed cookies in medium bowl and stir in melted shortening. press crumb mixture over bottom and sides of an 8 or 9 inch pie plate. Place crumb shell in freezer for about 20 minutes or until firm. Spoon in softened ice cream. Smooth surface. Place in freezer 30 to 45 minutes or until firm. Spoon fudge sauce over and return to freezer for 30 minutes or longer until fudge sauce hardens. Eight servings.
